I have had the Serfas eDash Mid-Drive for a couple of weeks now and have been enjoying it even more than I thought I would. It makes it so easy to jump on the bike and head to the gym or the store to pick up a few things without having to worry about coming back up the hill or it being too windy. I tried several other e-bikes before this one and found that the responsiveness in the changing of the power levels is much nicer on this bike. Additionally, I like the fact that I can pedal fairly strongly if I choose to and still get at least some exercise. Additionally, I have tried it without power to see what would happen if I ran out of battery, and although it is definitely heavier than a typical bike, it is still very doable without power. It took me a little bit of playing with the combination of gears and power settings to decide the best ways to get up hills, and once I figure it out, it is very easy. I strongly recommend the bike from my first initial weeks with it.

BEST MID-DRIVE ON THE MARKET IN ITS CLASS. Sure there are better bikes but nothing comes close in this price range. I have ridden countless other brands and models of ebikes, both hub drive and mid drive and the combination of comfort, feeling of a quality product and the price point made this mid drive a no brainer for me. It has plenty of power yet I dont feel like i could get thrown off the back of it when i take off like some other bikes. The only thing i would change would be brighter lights (they are still plenty bright) but i understand the brighter the light the more it drains the battery. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve had this bike for 6 months now. I tried a few different bikes but kept coming back to this one. The bikes without the torque sensor felt like they were taking off on me. I feel in control of the acceleration with this bike. I’m not sure what the maximum range would be at assist level 1. Longest ride was 48 miles and it still showed I had 20 miles of range left. I usually just use assist level 1 which feels like my normal bike for resistance. It goes about 2 mph faster at this assist level. I’ll use assist level 2 when going against stronger winds. Most of my riding is along the canals in the Phoenix area so there are no climbs. The lights are pretty decent although I do use an extra headlight especially since some of the canals are not lit. I’m glad I spent the extra money for the mid-drive as the extra range and torque sensor are worth the upgrade. Wasn’t sure about this bike as I couldn’t find many reviews. The bike store I bought the bike from spoke highly of Serfas products.

I have had my e dash 500 plus for over a year. I have taken it on a 7 day 420 mile trip and it was great!! The pedal assist levels help my knees and hips and without it I could not ride anymore. This bike is well worth it. The only glitch is you have to raise the back fender a bit due to the break light wire.

I bought it one year ago. I have 1500 miles on it and enjoy every ride. I would buy the same bike again. No regrets.

This is a wonderful eBike! Previously I owned a very uncomfortable Trek Conduit eBike that I sold to fund this purchase. Check out the video I made describing the features that I made detailing what sold me on the eDash Plus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb_mA19u2rM&t=301s
