Cool tool, supper light, has and everything. I got a flat 2 weeks after I got it and the c02 valve works great. I take it on every ride

Its not the tool for everyone and everything, only traveling with a shop mechanic or a buddy with a toolbox on every ride will give you a better compromise between weight and functionality, especially on race day.

I run tubeless on the MTB, so the integrated chain tool is more important than the tire levers on the ST-15I. As light as it can get, and a clever chain tool that gets easy once you do one or two chain swaps as part of regular maintenance so that you don’t get flustered on the trail. The integrated air-chuck works as well as any other on the market, with the typical twist for flow control allowing the use of a 16g cartridge to compensate for the air lost in a puncture, or refilling the 29er tube to around 30psi.

Race Day Tip: Cut an old 29’er tube 3 times the length of the tool. Insert the tool in one end about an inch past the opening. Insert (2) 16g threaded cartridges into the other end and a quick-link. Fold in half and velcro strap to the seat tube and you have the lightest race-day tool around.

I’ve never been more excited about a multi-tool! I’ve been leading weekly beginner group bike rides for 6 years—which means my multi-tool gets used a lot! So does my frame pump. But, now, I’ll add CO2 for the first time because of the integrated inflator tool! Best of all, there’s a chain retaining tool that I can’t wait to try because I remove my chains for cleaning. This will make adding the master link so much easier.

  4. Anthony Haas

This tool is a step above the rest, one of the smallest that contains both a co2 inflator and chain breaker. Luckily I haven’t needed to us it, but I did try out the inflator to get used to how it works and it is very user friendly.

I’m a nerd when it comes to cycling accessories, and this mini tool checks off every item on

my nerdy check list. In addition to having the standard tools of a multitool, it also has a mini CO2 inflator built in! I’ve had to use it once, and it worked extremely well. This tool also has a chain breaker, which eliminates the need to bring a separate tool on my longer rides.

The tools function great and the CO2 inflators works flawlessly. Lightweight and compact, what more could you ask for?
